Fall & Winter Program

Back to Education Programs

The Fall & Winter Program at MHV is a modified school field trip program that moves most of the activities indoors! Various heritage buildings have working wood stoves, which will be used for some stations. Costumed volunteers will lead students through hands-on or interpretive activities at various stations. Students will move through 5 different stations that depict pioneer life; including Migration, Early Settlement Life, Home, Work, and School. During the winter months, we are excited to offer skate, snowshoe, and kicksled rentals at an additional cost!
